Danger of Plastic Pollution

                Plastic is material consisting of any of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organic compounds that are malleable and so can be molded into solid objects. People used plastic to packaging because plastic is very cheap and very easy to be used as packaging material. There is so much pollution caused by plastic waste in the ocean, there are several solutions that may be done.

          One of the biggest problems is plastic pollution. Plastic garbage, which decomposes very slowly, is often mistaken for food by marine animals. High concentrations of plastic material, particularly plastic bags, have been found blocking the breathing passages and stomachs of many marine species, including whales, dolphins, seals, puffins, and turtles. This garbage can also come back to shore, where it pollutes beaches and other coastal habitats. It’s very dangerous because marine animals will be died because of plastic pollution and that can damage the ecosystem under the sea.

          It is very important to pay attention to the condition of our sea. There are some solutions to help our ocean. We can reduce our use of single use-plastic. We can recycle the plastic to be item that can be useful. Recycling helps keep plastics out of the ocean and reduces the amount of “new” plastic in circulation. The government needs to take action to help our ocean and also make some regulation to reduce plastic waste. The government should support some organization that related with addressing plastic pollution and also provide environmental policies.

          In Conclusion, plastic pollution is a big problem. So, we need our self-awareness to keep our ocean clean. We can use our seas in a wise sustainable way with balance for both natures itself. From now, we must maintain the existing sea ecosystem. So, the next generation can also enjoy the beauty of the sea and be able to enjoy the marine products.
