Chinese New Year


There are some things and situation that I like when Chinese new year. The first is meeting my big family. When the day of Chinese New Year, all of my big family gather at my grandma's house to celebrate Chinese New Year. We usually do some activities like taking family photo, playing game and also talking each other to share our funny stories when we do our activities every day. There are some things and situation that i like when Chinese new year. The second is the tradition. When the day of Chinese New Year, I used a new clothes, shoes and new jeans. I also get some money in that day because if you haven’t married you will get money from the older people that already married. At night, our family usually has dinner in the restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year. The third is the food. My grandma's cook so many foods and the food is very delicious. I can eat so many foods in that day. I also get some cookies or cake and also I can get a juice or some ice that my grandmas already made. That things and situation make me very happy and I love my big family.

    What a terrific story about your yearly experience in celebrating Chinese New Year. You packed it up in a really good sentences. But i see the same sentence which is repeat the first sentence. the sentence "There are some things and situation that I like when Chinese new year." is being repeated in 5th line. It make me hard to analyze where is the topic sentence. it will be better if you revise it to make it clearer.

    Your story make me can imagine what was going on your chinese new year, but i recommend you to do not use “that” on the last paragraph, because it’s the conclusion of the paragraph, so you must write it clearly, maybe you can write the three things that you like about the chinese new year again. The food is like chicken opor , chicken soon , soy sauce chicken and so many food that containing pork. I can eat so many foods in that day. I also get some cookies or cake and also I can get a juice or some ice that my grandmas already made. That things and situation make me very happy. With the Chinese New Year, its make our family bond and I’m always excited to welcome Chines New Year each year and I love my big family.
